8/9ers is an introduction to recreational competitiveness that builds upon the fundamentals and shifting the players to full time pitching. This is the 2nd level for full softball, player pitch, standard rules, etc.

-Age: 8 & 9-year-olds.
-Hitting: Players will be hitting live player pitching.
-Field Size: The field size is 60-foot base paths and pitching is approximately 35 feet.
-Ball Type: 11-inch softball

Team Formation: Teams are formed through coach draft from available players after the Majors draft.
